This is the historic skyline of Oxford from the west side looking back at the city. The large dome on the left is the Radcliffe Camera, home of Oxford University’s library. Next to that is St. Mary’s College, part of the University and then the 4 towers on the right are Christ Church College, also part of the University.
I took this picture from a hill-top park by our house and cropped it into a panoramic picture. This is one of my favorite places (well, only in the spring before the trees fill with leaves and when the skies are clear) to just sit and reflect on the city we live in. The spires show the age of the city and how the city just built in around the colleges’ towers. It is an amazing place!
Adjustments: cropping, contrast, hue, vignette
Until tomorrow, goodnight.
