Day 48 Little Venice

Wasting space on this beautiful island is not an option for the people of Mykonos.  The largest town, Mykonos, was built right on the water; in fact water comes right up to the edge of the houses and buildings on three sides of the town.  So what better nickname than, Little Venice?!

Restaurants line the seaside where you can sit and watch the sunset over the sea.  All of the buildings are white cubes with blue doors and windows stacked just far enough away from each other for people to walk though. The town is a maze of stores, restaurants, and homes.  In fact the only way to get out of the maze is to remember store names and the direction to the water.  I can honestly say that I have never seen anything like it.

Adjustments: contrast, hue, vignette

Until next time, good night!
