Day 100!

It has been just over three months (100 days, to be exact!) since I have started this project and I am still finding things in my neighborhood to take pictures of. An advantage to living in Oxford is that not only is it an incredibly photogenic city, but there are so many variables in a day that can change a picture.  It could be sunny, cloudy, wet, or windy, the air could be clear for miles or hazy, flowers could be open or closed, there could be tons of people out enjoying the weather or not a soul to be seen.  Sometimes the most boring useless things make a great picture and sometimes I can’t take a good picture to save my life.  It has been a fun 100 days and I have learned so much, can’t wait to see what the next 100 will bring.

This garage door is just down the street from our house.  I have walked by this house at least once a week for almost two years now and I just recently noticed how simple yet beautiful it is.

Adjustments: hue, contrast, saturation (unsaturation), vignette

Until next time, good night.
