Last year on the 4th of July we had a traditional celebration of Americas birthday with fellow ex-patriots. Two live here in Oxford and two traveled from Reno, NV just to visit. We barbecued, drank Budweiser (although quickly moved back to British beer), and set off fireworks from the park by our house. This year the 4th came and went without as much as a flutter. I think that God felt bad that we were missing the beautiful fireworks, so we got this beautiful sunset instead. The sky exploded with reds, oranges, yellows, and pinks. It was a beautiful night.
