I didn’t realize how hard it was to photograph a butterfly. This one, as I am sure most do, liked to fly (usually, just as I had focused in on it) and when it finally got settled on a flower it kept opening and closing its wings…my autofocus did not like that at all. So I switched to manual focus and tried again. Again the butterfly moved to a new flower, which apparently was not good enough, so it moved to another, and again it opened and closed its wings. Finally, my patience paid off and I was able to get a picture, and not just of the butterfly but of a bee too.
