Day 145 Pool Time

It was late in the day and the sun was setting, but I couldn’t resist getting a picture of these two (still) playing in the pool.  We had spend most of the day laying in the sun and swimming.  Soon the shadow of the house had crept across the pool so we all got dressed and ready for dinner.  As we were waiting for the finishing touches of dinner my little sister (14 yrs old) and my nephew (2 yrs old) snuck back out to the pool’s edge to play with a water gun. The sun was setting and the sky was turning pink, there is nothing like a desert sunset.  The colors can be very intense, changing from pastels to bright rich hues as the sun sinks further behind the Sierra Nevada Mountains.  In the first picture the colors are normal, in the second picture you can see the pink washing over the hammock and reflecting in the pool.

Adjustments: Pool Time- hue, contrast, clarity, vignette; Pool and Sunset- hue, contrast, clarity, multiply layer, vignette; Pool Fun- hue, contrast, saturation, clarity, vignette

Until next time,
