Day 158 Leaving on Jet Plane

Unfortunately, Reno is too small to have a direct flight over to London.  We had to fly from Reno to Las Vegas, then the long flight (10 hours) to London.

As we flew from Reno to Las Vegas we saw the Sierra Nevada Mountains dividing California and Nevada; a spin separating the Pacific Ocean front from the Great Basin Desert.  In this picture you can see Mono Lake California; and just beyond those beautiful white peaks is the majestic Yosemite National Park.

Our journey home was long and uneventful, fortunately, we had grandparents coming home with us.

Until next time,

Jenna x

  1. Beautiful view .. pictures like this are what window seats were made for.

  2. So now you are back to London? Do you live in Oxford maybe? ( say it because of the header in this site, really nice btw)
Such a long trip! The photgraph you took seems to have been taken from outside the plane, as if you were standing on the wings of the air plane, imagine that lol! A clean and breathtaking view.

    See you Jenna,
    Javier

  3. I love the view and this photo. You know, you keep this up and you can become an aerial photographer 🙂

Let me know what you think!
