Day 160 Blenheim Palace

Blenheim Palace is the result of a battle won by John Churchill in 1705, it was the battle of Blenheim.  John Churchill 1st Duke of Marlborough was the grandfather of Sir Winston Churchill, former Prime Minister of England. He was Prime Minister during World War II and was a hero to his country.  He was an Army officer, a politician, a writer, a painter, a father, and a husband.  The castle is currently owned by the 11th Duke of Marlborough and his wife.
