Day 173 Castles and Carnivals

I am disappointed in myself.  We took the grandparents to Windsor Castle, we spent all day walking around and learning about the castle and this picture is all I got.

I took this picture because I liked the brick and rock of the castle and the cannon in the foreground with the Ferris wheel in the background. They seem to contrast each other; work and play, fortress and fairground fun, old and new.

Until next time,

Adjustments: contrast, hue, sharpening, vignette, multiple layers

  1. This photo may be all you got but honestly its still an amazing one. I love how castles tell a story all on their own

  2. The occupant of the castle is suspicious of the fun the Ferris wheel symbolizes, and therefore has aimed a cannon at it, just in case.

  3. You must have been enjoying the Grandparents company so much you forgot the camera. 🙂
Like when you go to the cinema and the film is so good that you forget to eat your sweets.
    It’s a great feeling. 😀

Let me know what you think!
