Day 214 Fleur De Lis

The beautiful fleur-de-lis is a symbol that I have often seen during my travels in Europe.  They are found in paintings, carvings, flags and banners as well as metal work.  This one is on the post of a wrought iron fence in front of Mansfield College and I walked past just as the sun was setting for the day.

Until next time,
