Day 233 Luxurious Lake Como

Welcome to the Grande Hotel Temezzo, an impressive resort on Lake Como, Italy!  The hotel is set on the shore overlooking the lake.  If you want to take a walk on the beach, you can’t.  Built in 1910 by a traveler and his wife because they wanted to create something with class and sophistication in Italy.  I think that they did it.

With 20,000 sq meters you can take a morning walk through the gardens, in the afternoon you can choose form one of the three pools or a boat.  I, personally, would choose this pool.  Not only is it floating, but there is also a beach…a sand beach!  I love sand between my toe and the warm summer sun on my shoulders.

Unfortunately, we were visiting in October.  The sun was warm, but only if you had a jacket on.

Until next time,

Jenna x
