Day 252 You Have a Hole in Your…

The Pantheon was built in 126 AD!  It is a circular building held steady with granite columns.  For nearly two thousand years it was the only free-standing concrete dome.  The circular hole in the center of the dome is the only light that comes into the building, the down side is that it also lets in the wind, rain, and occasionally snow.

As beautiful as it was to see the sun shine through the dome (onto the wall because it was late October), it would be amazing to see the moon shine through it.

Until next time,
